At Hillcrest Pain & Spine, we specialize in treatment plans for the spine, joints, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders. Each of our treatment plans includes a comprehensive evaluation of chronic pain and injuries including appropriate diagnostic tests and scans. Diagnostic tests may include precise injections targeting specific pain generators. Since mental health plays a crucial role in patients with chronic pain, a detailed psychological evaluation is also made during the initial evaluation and referrals are made to the appropriate mental health counselors and physicians. Dr. Labatia is also proficient in electrodiagnostic studies or EMGs for the diagnosis of peripheral nerve disease or disorders.
Dr. Labatia uses a comprehensive multimodality treatment approach tailored to each individual patient. This includes rehabilitation treatments with physical and occupational therapy to improve range of motion, core strength, muscle strength, spinal and joint stabilization. Medication management is applied when appropriate. Dr. Labatia uses different interventional pain procedures that are specific to each pain generator including joint injections, spinal facet injections and radiofrequency ablations, nerve and epidural blocks, spinal cord stimulators, sympathetic blocks, and intrathecal pain pumps.
